Reflexology
SO MUCH MORE THAN A FOOT MASSAGE.....
How does Reflexology work?
Reflexology works on the principle that zones and reflex points on the feet correspnd with organs and systems within the body. Reflexologists apply gentle pressure over these reflex points to detect areas of congestion (sometimes felt as small crystals under the skin). Reflexologists work over these points in order to aid the elimination of toxins, rebalance the body and release the flow of energy which in turn is thought to encourage the body's natural healing process.
Following an initial consultation, the reflexologist will carry out a treatment relevant to the clients needs.

Reflexologists cannot diagnose or claim to cure any conditions and treatments should not be substituted for medical advice where required.

Getting the most from your treatment
In order to get the most out of your treatment please follow the following advice:
Hydrate well following your treatment. You may have increased thirst and its important to prevent dehydration.
Avoid other therapies such as massage/acupuncture etc on the same day as your treatment as this may overstimulate the body.
Try not to over exert yourself following a treatment, some people experience a burst of energy following their session but its best to allow this energy to be used to promote healing.
Avoid alcohol and caffeine following a treatment

To prevent discomfort avoid eating a large meal before a treatment.

If you experience any changes or effects between treatments, make a note of them before attending your next visit.
